Yvonne Busby

On December 29, 1957, a shining star was born to the proud parents of Marcela Holiday-Adams and Leon Adams. Her name was Yvonne Adams
Yvonne brought so much love, laughter and light amongst her parents and siblings.
Yvonne received her formal education in the Houston Public System. After high school she went on to become a loving and devoted Mother of three amazing children, (1) daughter and (2) sons. Yvonne was a dedicated and devoted mother, who always put her children at the center of her life.
Yvonne was married to Ronnie Busby for twenty-five years, before he went on to be with the Lord.
Yvonne worked as a Chef at two locations in her entire career as a Chef. Yvonne was a lady of consistency and stability in everything she endured. The Houston Marriott Hotel was her first Chef opportunity, she worked hard and earned her stripes. Yvonne eventually went to work for a Senior Living Facility which she adored very much, she worked at Sunrise Living Assistance for thirty-two years.  In the entire thirty-two years of employment, Yvonne was never late or absent from this job.
Yvonne was very thoughtful, firm, consistent and loving. Cooking was her passion and the drive that she needed to continue to be a great Chef.
Yvonne was the biggest food critic I ever known. Taking Yvonne out to eat was always a chore. We had to make sure that the food was great tasting, prepared well and displayed accordingly, otherwise she had plenty to say!
Our sweet Yvonne was taken from us way too soon and suddenly. Her departure has left us speechless and heartbroken!
Yvonne was proceeded in death by her husband, Ronnie Busby’s mother, Marcela Holiday-Adams, father, Leon Adams, and sister Diane Jerold.
Yvonne leaves in her cherished memories her children, Camilla Rochion AdamsHall (Shawan), Curtis Eugene Adams (Geno), Ronnie Jean Adams (Lovie). Grand children, Jaylin Montrell Hall, Destiny Deann Nevels and Ronnie Jean Adams Jr. Great Grand baby, Makenzie Lynn Patterson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins’ other relatives and friends.
